The preparatory meeting is a follow-up on Prime Minister's Group Report (PMGR) to identify and facilitate action points on the recommendations concerned.  The meeting was held with the representatives of select private companies and a few ministries of Government of India to discuss the pre-acquisitioin, acquisition and post-acquisition issues faced by private sector companies, as also their suggestions.  The purpose was to examine these issues and come up with recommedations to facilitate outward investment by the Indian private sector companies
